Step into the captivating world of scent detection with our Nosework Foundations class, the perfect starting point for dogs and handlers new to the sport. In this engaging, fast-paced course, you will learn how to condition your dog to recognize a specific target scent, while strengthening your teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills together.

This class is perfect for dogs of all ages and skill levels, especially those looking for a mentally stimulating and engaging activity.

Additional Information:

• This course moves quickly, and weekly homework assignments will be provided to help reinforce the skills covered in class. To get the most from your experience, please plan to complete the homework each week.
• You will need a bowl and colander dedicated solely to nosework training (not from your everyday kitchen use). You are welcome to bring your own set, or you may request one to be prepared for you to take home and use. This setup forms the foundation for this and future nosework classes at CCC.

Cancellations and Refunds:

All cancellations and refunds are subject to a $35 administration fee. Cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice prior to the start date will not be refunded, so please plan carefully. As this is a specialized class, no make-up classes are available. We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our classes small and effective for you.
